Garnett grabs hat trick
The Vernon Chick Kickers blanked the Shuswap Kaos 3-0 in Salmon Arm.
The Kaos (2-9-1) came out flying with a few scoring chances on the shorthanded Kickers (10-1-1), but keeper Robyn Sherwood was standing tall early.
Sharon Storms lifted a ball over the Kaos defence to Jenny Garnett at the ten-minute mark, who bolted down the right side, cut to the net and fired one far side for her first of three.
Five minutes later, Colline Johnson threaded the needle through three defenders up to Garnett, who sniped down low.
Garnett also blasted one top corner from the top of the box from Tania Sladen.
