The Vernon Re/Max Tigers will look to stave off elimination as they host the Kamloops Venom in Game 4 of the Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League finals Wednesday night (7:30) at Wesbild Centre.

The Cats fell 17-8 to host Kamloops in Game 3 of the best-of-five series Monday night at Memorial Arena.

Trailing by a goal heading into the second period, Vernon rallied with three unanswered goals to make it 7-5 midway through the frame. After that, they came unglued, allowing nine straight Venom goals.

If necessary, Game 5 would go Friday in Kamloops. The series winner advances to Junior B provincials, Aug. 3-5 at Bear Mountain Arena in Juan de Fuca.
