Summerland foursome wins annual Men's Tin Cup Bonspiel

A single point was the difference in A Event championships of last weekend’s Men’s Tin Cup Bonspiel at the Penticton Curling Club.

In the end it was Rob Koffski’s Summerland rink emerging victorious over the Matt Tolley’s Penticton team by a 5-4 margin.

The winning rink included; third Glen Brennan, second Randy Nelson and lead Gerry Richard.

Action got underway in the 31-team annual event Friday and wound up with the finals in the four divisions Sunday.

Over on the B side, Ken Giddings Penticton rink prevailed. The team included third Jim Makinson, second Andrew Hill and Luke Bissonnette.

The C event was also won by a Penticton rink. Blaine Black’s foursome collected the hardware with a win in the final.

Team members included; third Shaun Everest, second Steve Wright and lead Tim Haberstock.

The D event was won by a combined Summerland-Kelowna team skipped by Summerland’s Tyler Jaeger. Other team members included; third Justin Nillson, second Mike Rudniski and lead Steve Favel.
