The Psalm 23 Million Dollar Charity Hole-In-One Contest at the 108 Golf Resort kicks off Aug. 10 and runs continuously until the quarter-finals, semifinals and finals are held on Aug. 19.

After the finals, Psalm 23 executive director Marvin Declare says there will be some outstanding prizes handed out to the top 10 players.

“Last year’s event was well-received and a great deal of fun for all involved, we couldn’t wait to do it again.

“Not only does it encourage regular players to try their hand at the challenge; it’s a great reason for occasional players to blow the dust off their clubs and get back out on the course. We invite all players to take a shot at becoming a qualifier.”

How it Works

Over the nine-day qualifying contest, golfers can drop in to the 108 Resort golf driving range and pay $10 for 12 balls, $20 for 30 balls or $50 for 100 balls and shoot for a hole-in-one or closest to the pin at a distance of approximately 95 yards. The top 7 golfers and three random draws of participants each day will qualify for the quarter-finals.

Ladies day will run alongside of the regular daily qualifying action Aug. 13. The top 7 women closest to the pin will automatically be entered into the quarter-finals on Aug. 19.

Youth day (17 years and under) will run alongside of the regular daily qualifying action Aug. 11. The top 5 youth golfers closest to the pin will win the daily prizes. Youth under 18 years old cannot qualify for the quarter-finals or money prizes by law.

The Business Challenge Cup will run alongside of the regular daily qualifying action Aug. 17-18. The top 7 business golfers closest to the pin will automatically be entered into the quarter-finals.

The top business (minimum of three golfers per business) will take home the Business Trophy and carry bragging rights for a year.

Quarter-finals: All qualifiers from the nine-day contest will be given three shots for a hole-in-one at a distance of approximately 160 yards at the driving range. Quarter-finalists shooting a hole-in-one could win $10,000.

Semifinals: The top 10 golfers from the quarter-finals will each receive one shot at a chance to win $100,000 with a hole-in-one at a distance of approximately 160 yards on 108 Resort Golf Course hole #10.

Finals: The top 3 golfers from the semifinals will each receive one shot at a chance to win $1,000,000 with a hole-in-one at a distance of approximately 170 yards on 108 Resort golf course hole #10.
