The Langley Blaze will be well represented when Baseball Canada holds their junior national team spring training camp.

Five players from the Blaze’s U18 Premier program were invited to the camp.

Attending the camp from the Blaze will be Kristjan Storrie, Kyle Ross, Kurtis Horne, Luke Horanski and Mitchell Robinson.

Storrie is a right-handed pitcher while Ross and Horne are left-handers.

Horanski is a catcher and Robinson a third-baseman.

Storrie and Ross have been invited for the first time, while the other three have attended the junior national team program previously.

The camp runs in St. Petersburg, Fla. from March 6 to 17 and the team will play a nine-game exhibition schedule against spring training clubs from the Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles, Toronto Blue Jays, Atlanta Braves, Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Pirates.

Games are also scheduled against a local junior college and a nearby high school.
