Baudais voted most improved lady; receives award at barbecue

AMY BAUDAIS GRINS a winning smile after receiving her award for most improved lady at the Special Olympics award barbeque recently. Amy improved her bowling average by 13 points over last year.  About 50 Special Olympic athletes practise Saturdays at Codes Country Lanes in Courtenay supported by by a dozen or so volunteers. Teams travel to other communities to compete several times throughout the year. Special Olympics provides athletic opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.
