Rockets beat Storm 4-1 in away game

The Rockets were on the road for their last two games in 2018.

First, they travelled to Armstrong to take on the North Okanagan Knights on December 27.

With Jacob Bennet in the net making some great saves throughout the game, the Golden Rockets were still unable to secure a win. In the first period, the Knights were the only team able to put the puck in the net against the Rockets.

In the second period, the Rockets were able to tie up the game with a score by Dominic Turner, assisted by Riley Egan and Bryce Trimmer. The Knights were able to retaliate with another goal against the Rockets before the end of the second period.

The Rockets tied up the game again in the third period, with a goal unassisted by Brendan Sime-Vivian.

The Knights scored the final goal of the game with only a few minutes left in the third period, ending the match with a 3-2 score.

The next night, the Golden Rockets travelled to Kamloops to take on the Storm on December 28.

Right away in the first period Briar Whyte scored a goal on the Storm with an assist by Jayden Hendricks, and before long, more goals kept rolling in. Turner scored the second goal, with an assist by Trimmer and Egan.

The Golden Rockets kept pushing harder against the Kamloops Storm, and scored two more goals in the second period. The third goal of the night was scored by Turner unassisted, and Egan scored the fourth goal, bringing the score up 4-0 for the Rockets.

The Storm was only able to score one goal in the whole game, in the third period, not allowing the Rockets to get a shut out on them. The Rockets returned home victorious in a 4-1 win.
