Courtenay’s Colleen Robson and her teammates on the Noble rink won all their games en route to defending their BC senior (50+) women’s championship in Enderby, an eight-team event that wrapped up Sunday.

Robson — the 2017 seniors champ — was in good company. Skip Lynne Noble of Qualicum won the B.C. seniors titles in 2011 and 2017. Third Penny Shantz of Nanoose helped Canada win a gold medal at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. And newcomer Karen Lepine, lead, of the Lower Mainland, is the 2015 national masters champion. Seven-time B.C. men’s champion Jim Cotter coaches the Noble rink.

By winning provincials, the team advances to senior nationals March 24-29 in Stratford, Ont. They won bronze last year.
