Penticton Power gets clutch hits to earn tie

The Penticton Power under-16C girls fastball team earned a draw with the West Kelowna Outlaws

Penticton Power under-16C tied the West Kelowna Outlawas 9-9 in District 9 girls fastball action Wednesday at Columbia Field.

Desiree Paulhus pitched two very strong innings for the Power and scored the tying run after hitting a double in the bottom of the fifth to earn a draw in what coach Cam Stewart described as an exciting game. Keely Bachmann also had a key hit in the five-run fifth inning rally.
