OKM 10s take KSS junior tourney

An all-Huskies final at Snowy Owl Classic basketball event

If the junior girls program is any indication of what’s to come, basketball at Okanagan Mission Secondary appears to be on the upswing.

In an all-OKM final Saturday afternoon at KSS, the Huskies Grade 10 girls defeated the OKM Grade 9 team 60-32 in the final of the Snowy Owl Classic.

The OKM Grade 10 team dominated the tournament from start to finish.

The bronze medal game saw the KSS Owls defeat Sa-Hali from Kamloops 48-38.

Among other local schools, Immaculata placed eighth, Mt. Boucherie was 10th and Rutland, 11th.

The players who were identified by their coaches as leaders on the respective teams were:
