Mixed Sponsor Curling League winding down

There should be some good curling in an old-fashioned shootout

The Quesnel Curling Club’s Mixed Sponsor League is winding up tomorrow night (March 14) as the teams complete the round-robin playoff format.

The standings going into the final week sees Quesnel Lawn Care with a record of nine wins, six losses and two ties (9-6-2).

Century 21 and Service Electric have identical 9-7-1 records.

Three teams have eight wins: Child Development Centre at 8-7-2; Billy Barker Casino at 8-8-1; and Sky Hi Scaffolding at 8-9.

Karin’s Deli & Health Foods has a 5-12-1 record.

The action gets underway at 7 p.m., so come down to the club at 550 Barlow Ave. and check out the action.

There is good viewing both up stairs and down stair at ice level.
