A volunteer host family is needed for Team Italy – one of many teams set to compete in the 2016 Women’s World Softball Championship July 15-24 at Softball City.

Host families are the first point of contact for visiting international teams, serving as ambassadors. They first meet their team at Vancouver International Airport and escort players to awaiting buses. A host family is expected to attend games and help make sure the needs of their team are met.

Thirty-one teams from around the world are scheduled to compete in the world championship.
