Good weather and good coho fishing has kept a steady flow of boats fishing off Sooke. With flat water anglers have been enjoying a good fall coho season. Now that one can keep a wild coho it makes it worth while to get out on the water and do some fishing. Fall is the best time to fish off Sooke when the weather is like it has been of late. Fishing between Sooke Bluffs and Otter Point has been working the best in 200’ to 400’ of water. The last few days the morning has been good and then tapering off a bit as the day goes on. Try fishing 100’ or deeper for best results. Hootchies, spoons and anchovies have been working the best. Until next time.
