Gymnasts medal at trampoline and tumbling provincials

Nanaimo Gymnastics School athletes received high marks at the Trampoline Gymnastics B.C. Championships last month in Langley.

Nanaimo Gymnastics School athletes received high marks at the Trampoline Gymnastics B.C. Championships last month in Langley. Results from trampoline and tumbling provincials include:

Level 1 – Karli Boyan, first, trampoline, third, tumbling, third, synchro; Kayla Howell, third, synchro.

Level 3 – Sierra Schuler, second, double mini trampoline, first, synchro; Cassidy Bodnar, third, double mini trampoline, second, tumbling, third, all-around, first, synchro.

Level 5 – Emily Mould, first, double mini trampoline.

Level 1 boys – Owen Harbo, third, tumbling.

Junior boys – Adin Brenner, first, trampoline, second, tumbling.

Richardson, Brenner, Blake Mould and Emily Mould qualified for Canadian championships at the end of the month in Edmonton. Schuler and Bodnar will represent Team B.C. at the Western Canada Cup in Calgary from May 21-23 and Boyan and Howell will also compete at Westerns.
