Cycling team partners with Langley-based Fondo

A partnership with a youth cycling team brings the Granfondo into its orbit.

A Vancouver-based U23 road cycling team is partnering with two Langley-based organizations – Trinity Western University and the Fraser Valley Granfondo.

Smart Savvy+ Garneau just announced the partnership with the Granfondo and the continuing deal with the local Christian university.

The Prospera Valley Granfondo’s mission is to promote healthy living while building strong community leaders.

Now in its sixth year, proceeds from the event are given to youth cycling initiatives like Bridge the Gap, Cycling BC iRide Program, and DEVO Junior Cycling program.

“The new Partnership with Smart Savvy+ Garneau U23 Cycling Team allows the event to support youth from the ages of 5 right up to 23, building a real future for the community,” said Granfondo event director Marc Campbell.
