The Barriere Cedar Kings Pee Wee girls softball team won the District playdowns against Kamloops

The Barriere Cedar Kings Pee Wee girls softball team have won the District playdowns against Kamllops in game 3 of the best of 3. They did it the hard way by losing game 1 and having to win back to back. But the team persevered and showed great fortitude by wearing their opposition down in game 3 by getting out to a 7 run lead after 4 innings, which resulted in a mandatory win as the mercy rule applied. The  Provicncials will be hosted by Pitt Meadows on July 4-7.
