All about fun during the 40th Annual Hockey Jamboree

It was all about fun during this year’s 40th Annual Hockey Jamboree at the Cowichan Lake Sports Arena, Saturday, January 22.

It was all about fun during this year’s 40th Annual Hockey Jamboree at the Cowichan Lake Sports Arena, Saturday, January 22.

Hockey action filled the arena from the early morning to the early evening, with games and a skills competition taking place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

The highlight was the Skills Competition, between 12:30 p.m. and about 2 p.m.

During the competition, players from all leagues were divided into two large teams; blue and white. The two halves competed against one another in various skill areas, such as skating, stick handling, and a shoot out.

In the end, the white team was triumphant.
