Abbotsford’s Jamie Deba shared top goalie honours as his men’s roller hockey team finished second in the men’s 30-and-over final at the North American Roller Hockey Championships’ Winternationals event in San Jose last month.

Deba suited up with the Langley-based Hockey House Army, which also won gold in the men’s open division, with a 4-3 overtime victory over KIHA Warriors.

Deba and teammate Trevor Sanderham teamed up to save 71 of 83 shots in the 30-and-over division to jointly claim the top goaltender prize.
