You never know what you’ve lost till it’s gone

You never know just what you have lost until you have lost it.

In the May 11 issue of the Quesnel Cariboo Observer there was an article about your Good Food Box closing – what a shame.

I belong to a Good Food Box in the Okanagan area even though I live where I can grow most anything.

But, you know, I enjoy this program and depend on it every month.

I get all the fruit and vegetables I need for a whole lot less a month than any store I can go into even here.

With the high cost of living these days and being on a fixed income, we need to be able to stretch our dollars as far as we can.

Of all the people who live in apartments or in places where you can’t grow anything, I feel sorry for all of you for not supporting such a fantastic operation.

Your loss, not mine, thank goodness.
