I have noticed lately a very bad smell in the air. People tell me it’s coming from creosote being painted on railway ties and put in the box cars and going through town. It’s smelling even worse than when I lived in the big city. For all the talk of Ashcroft wellness awaits you well I think that’s false advertising with such a notorious carcinogen having to be breathed and going directly into our lungs. We should at least have an air quality index so we know how bad it is and if we should stay indoors. Someone told me that creosote had been banned because it is so toxic. Is there not something non-toxic we could use in its place?
