Thank you, Ladysmith Days organizers!

Chronicle Editor Lindsay Chung lauds the efforts of the small army of volunteers who made this year's Ladysmith Days come together.

It takes a lot to make an event like Ladysmith Days happen.

So much goes on behind the scenes long before the weekend even comes. There are months and months and months of planning. So many decisions need to be made. So many people need to be contacted. So many schedules need to be lined up.

It’s an incredible amount of work, and I hope the people who devote so much of their time and energy to this wonderful event know how much we appreciate it.

Once again, Ladysmith Days was a weekend full of love, laughter, smiles and happiness. It was wonderful to see so many families and so many people of all ages out enjoying everything Ladysmith has to offer and enjoying spending time with their friends and neighbours.

A huge thank you and congratulations to the Ladysmith Celebrations Society and all the volunteers who made this happen. It was an amazing weekend once again. Thank you also to all the sponsors and community groups, clubs, organizations and businesses who help with all of the events.

Ladysmith Days celebrates everything that is so great about our community, and like all of our great community events throughout the year, it wouldn’t happen without the people, the spirit and dedication that Ladysmith is known for.

We are already looking forward to next year, and we hope you are too!
