So happy for Jessie

Letter of thanks to those who helped in the search for the recently missing young man, Jessie Wright of Castlegar

The parents of Jessie Wright would like to publicly acknowledge and thank all the people involved in bringing our son, Jessie, home.

It was an incredible community effort and we can’t express our gratitude enough for the many ways people gave of themselves for the safe return of our Jessie. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to the Search and Rescue team: Marc Savoie, Gord Ilen, Alan Cawte, John Perry, Cyril Nevakshonok, Tanya Johnson, James Mckenzie, Skylar Shelefontiuk, and Cassey Stott, as well as to Convergent Volunteers Rick Tepper and Steve Parsons, and also to skilled helicopter pilot, Darryl Konkin, out of Kamloops Air Sections, to Dan Marcoux, President of the Christina Lake Snowmobile Society, and to the Snowmobile Society for the use of their cabin and supplies therein. A huge thank you to our local RCMP detachment for doing their job well and to Sgt Laurel Mathew for her expertise and support throughout the search.

To members of the family, who spread the word via local media and handed out missing person posters, you are deeply appreciated. We would also like to thank all others not listed here who helped in the search, whether it be through posting the “Missing Persons’” facebook page or any other aid given, and to all of our family and friends who diligently prayed for Jessie’s safe return.

May God bless each and every one of you for your compassion and generosity.

-Sincerely,

Adia and Skye Wright,

Castlegar
