Get over it

There was a fair and democratic election where people had a choice to select the Mayor of Quesnel for the 2011-2014 term.

Editor:

I have known Mary Sjostrom since 2006 when she was a Quesnel City councillor and while true she and I don’t agree on all issues – I have never questioned her integrity or her dedication to the City of Quesnel, the North Cariboo sub-region and of the entire Cariboo-Chilcotin region.

There are some who  still, after the last civic election in November 2011, question her expenses serving as the mayor of Quesnel (you know who you are.)

To those that do – I have a message for you.  GET OVER IT!

There was a fair and democratic election where people had a choice to select the Mayor of Quesnel for the 2011-2014 term.

Issues, like municipal expenses, were aired out and voters’ decided that Mary Sjostrom, over both Ron Paull and Ron Craigmyle, should be re-elected.

In the  meantime – there are many issues in Quesnel to work on including both the North Cariboo Multi-Centre before the taxpayer mandate expires in November of 2013 and the West Quesnel Land Stability project.

We all know that Quesnel is a wonderful community. Instead of focusing on little issues – let’s focus on the big issues that will make Quesnel the desirable place that the residents’ of Quesnel wish it to be.
