B.C. must consider its actions in relation to the rest of the world

Election B.C. 2013, my thoughts. We can not afford to worship our environmental ideology in isolation from the rest of the world.

Yes, we have to do things differently than we have in the past, and much more care and consultation has to be incorporated in what we do today so we do not impair the future, or our ability to maintain a standard of living that we all can survive and live with.

Our natural resources in B.C. are our life blood, and to not utilize them would be akin to having millions of dollars in the bank and begging for nickels on the street.

We are only one small part in a world-wide jig-saw puzzle and if we react over the top independently, we will suffer the consequences of committing social suicide.
