Doofus driver

It is too bad I didn’t get a good clear full description of your vehicle

To the young guy driving distracted beside the Qualicum Town hall Tuesday, April 23, cell phone glued to your ear, with folks of all ages crossing nearby: you took an exceptionally rude reaction to me and spinning your tires to U-turn in front of the hall, intimidating you might run me down on my bike, verbalizing some strong language and cussing “what business is it of mine, idiot?” several times.

Well it is my business when your bad driving indicates such and followed up by blowing past the four-way stop and wheeling hard into the courtyard lane, and goodness knows what else after that. People all around staring slack-jawed.

It is my business and everyone’s business when you are a clear danger and not using your head. More people are killed in B.C.  by texting and cellphone driving than are killed by impaired drivers. That’s a fact. That is why it is against the law. Your actions in an auto are more dangerous than playing with bullets.

It is too bad I didn’t get a good clear full description of your vehicle and the opportunity to report you and demand some dangerous driving charges.
