November 26, 1922 – February 9, 2020
Bill passed away at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital on Feb. 9th, 2020 at age 97 with family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Mary Shrubsall and siblings Dorothy and Alfred.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary, sons Kevin and Keith and daughter Jeannie (Joe), siblings Eileen and Marjorie, grandchildren Kathryn (Clinton), Jacqueline, Amelia, Eric, Thomas, and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Prince Rupert where he lived and worked most of his life. Bill served his country in the second world war and he was sent overseas in 1942. Bill was a local businessman, a partner of Superior Radio and owner of Bill’s TV. Bill loved to fish and camp and fly his floatplane.
Bill had a long and happy life; he was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
The family thanks the doctors, nurses and staff at the hospital for the care given to Bill.
Service will be held at the Annunciation Church at 11 am Feb. 20, 2020, burial at Fairview following the service, and reception downstairs at the Annunciation Church. Everyone welcome. Obituary-
