January 6, 1962 – January 10, 2021
David was born on January 6th, 1962 in Vancouver, B.C. and passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 10th, 2021 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 59 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife; Juanita, his two sons; Kory and Logan, his mother; Grace, his sisters; Sharon (Paul) Curtis, Holly (Gord) Ney and Kelly Houle along with many other extended family members and friends. He had numerous nieces and nephews that were close to his heart. David was preceded in death by his father; Herbert, his brother-in-law; Marcel and by his infant daughter; Sara.
David grew up and worked many years in Vancouver before moving to Falkland and then to Vernon where he met his wife. They were married on April 22nd, 2000. David worked for McLeod’s By Products for twenty years where he made his way up to plant manager.
David loved the outdoors and the mountains. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and quadding with his family. A lot of time was spent hanging out in the yard in Falkland where he loved to cook on an open fire. His family, friends and neighbors were a huge part of his life and you could always find him chatting with someone. His kindness and sense of humor will be missed greatly.
As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of David to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, BC Branch.
In respecting David’s wishes, he was cremated and no funeral service will be held at this time.
