Sally CRITCHLEY

CRITCHLEY, Sally (nee Wingrove). It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sally on June 27, 2014 at the age of 66. Sally struggled with Sarcoidosis for 16 years. Her struggle became a battle a year ago. She was a devoted and loving wife to Derek for almost 45 years. She was the centre of her family and adored by her three children Scott (Brana), Sara (Matthew) and Stacey (Darna). Sally cherished her grandchildren Bergen, Ronin, Everett, Quinlan, Sienna and Finley. She also leaves behind many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Art and Mae Wingrove and her nephew Trevor Wingrove. Sally was born and raised in Port Coquitlam. She was the little sister to Bob (Marylyn) and Les (JoAnne) whom she remained close to and who stood by her as she endured the fight for her life this past year. She met Derek in 1969, they quickly fell in love and married that same year. They moved to Pitt Meadows in 1973 where they raised their family and acquired many dear friends. Sally will live on in our hearts and memories. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and specialists who aided in her care and the staffs of RCH, VGH, RMH and Queens Park Care Centre. A Celebration of Sally’s Life will be held Friday, July 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at First Memorial Burkeview Chapel, 1340 Dominion Avenue, Port Coquitlam, BC. Interment to follow at Port Coquitlam Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to National Sarcoidosis Organization or BC Lung Association.
