Robert A. Moore

101 YEARS!!

With great sadness we announce the passing of a great man.

Father, Grand Father and Great Grand Father.

Married Jessie Elizabeth Cole in 1929, residing in Thunder Bay Ontario. 

Two children, a son, Gary Frederick and daughter, Lois-Anne.

Bob had a strong mechanical aptitude and enjoyed working on his cars old and nw.  Discovered a 1933 Plymouth Coupe – a father and son restoration project – certainly got every ones attention.

Joined the armed forces in 1944, left home to train at Camp Borden in Barrie Ontario, was given medical discharge (heart).  Returning home took employment at the Army-Navy Club.  Becoming Chief Stewart and Manager, promoted to Hotel License Inspector for the Liquor Control Board of Ontario. 

Retiring after 27 years of service.  Moved out to BC to be with family taking up residence in Aldergrove’s Pioneer Park for the past 23 years.  He is predeceased by his wife Jessie in 1993 and daughter Lois Anne in 2008. 

Living independently, worked on puzzles, played cards, especially crib, shooting pool at the club house and loved winning.

Our love Grandpa – Gary and Pat, Susan and Howard Martin, April, Aaron, Alex, Debbie and Dave Desautels, Jordan, Heather, Mike Moore and Ranjee, Grayson and John, Darren Potter, Grayson – Great Grand Daughter Olivia and Lyanne.
