There is a right time for everything. It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ottilie (Tillie) Rosenberg on January 4, 2008 in the Polson Extended Care Unit in Vernon, B. C. She was just 4 days short of her 100th birthday.
Tillie was born on January 8, 1908 in Greenwald, Manitoba and lived there until she married Gustav Rosenberg in 1928. They moved to Saskatchewan where they farmed until 1946. All who knew her will remember her for her cheery smile, her sense of humour and her dedication to her family. Tillie was an excellent cook, did beautiful handiwork and liked to spend time in her garden, especially with her flowers.
Surviving children and spouses are Edith Johnson, George Rosenberg, Hilda Sommerfeld, Wilfred Rosenberg and Emily, Rosalie Genier and Peter, Marlene Robertson and Jim, Elsie Griffiths and Gary, Evelyn DeGryse and Cy, Irene Scarcella and Tony, and Bill Rosenberg and Margaret.
