May 7, 1930 – May 31, 2021
Margaret passed away peacefully in the Campbell River Hospital on May 31st. She had many, many friends in the community, all of whom she cherished dearly. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland and emigrated to Canada in January 1956.
After four years in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba she moved to Fort Langley B.C. in 1960 and then to Toba Inlet and Campbell River in 1970. She retired from a career in real estate in 2005.
Margaret was an avid gardener, a skier, a pet lover and an excellent cook. She was very accomplished in the arts of knitting and stained glass.
She is survived by her children Jackie, Peter, Grant (Barb), Carole and Michael (Sandra), six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Campbell River and District Association for Community Living, the Disabled Skier’s organization at Mount Washington, or the charity of your choice.
