Lillian FICZEL

FICZEL, Lillian Betty

May 16, 1952 – February 19, 2017

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved daughter and sister. Lil, born in Regina, SK was predeceased by her father Alphons Ficzel and is survived by her mother Natalie Volk (Ray), sister Judy Kay Stembridge, many cousins and friends, including her dearest long-time friends Julie & Lawrence Morrison. Lil was a long time resident of Langley and spent her working career in the Customs Brokerage field.

Over the years Lil was an avid bowler, golfer and camping enthusiast. She loved to entertain and was an accomplished cook. Her crafting skills were remarkable and included needle point and crocheting. Lil was a Licensed florist and although she pursued this as a hobby rather than a career, Lil kept family and friends in seasonal creations and donated many an arrangement to charity fundraisers.

Lil’s family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors who attended her at both Langley Memorial Hospital – Acute Care and Surrey Memorial Hospital – Intensive Care.

Thanks also are given to the many friends and family who expressed their condolences with flowers, letters, cards and telephone calls. No service by request. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
