Betty passed away with her family by her side. She was pre-deceased by her husband Richard (Dick) in 1987. She is survived by her children Shelagh (Stu) Mackill, Maureen (Tom) Fulton, Daryl (Tracy), Carol (Laurie) MacLeod and John, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was born in Claire, Saskatchewan and moved to Aldergrove, B.C. as a young girl. She married Dick on May 29, 1948. They moved to the Cariboo a few years later.
Betty devoted much of her time to family and one of her favourite things was Sunday afternoon tea. She enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, knitting and sewing. She liked planning and attending the many large family reunions that were held over the years.
Betty will be forever loved and remembered by family and friends.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no service.
