LENORE JEAN (ENGEN) DYER

On Sunday, February 26, 2017, Lenore Jean Dyer, of Grand Forks, B.C., passed away at the age of 80 years. Lenore was born in Dauphin, Manitoba on February 16, 1937.

Lenore is survived by her loving husband of over 20 years, Paul Dyer of Grand Forks, BC, his daughters Debbie (Jim) Lowe of St. Albert, AB and Arlene (Rick) Ricker of Christina Lake, BC, and their families which include five step-grandsons and families, and four great grand children; her brother Roy (Muriel) Engen of Dauphin, MB; brother in law Garth (Anne) Kidd of London, ON; four nieces, four nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends. Lenore was predeceased by her parents Sid and Jean Engen; first husband Fred Burt Johns; brother Elgin Engen; sister Edna Kidd; sister in law Derlene Engen; and her nephew Kenneth Engen.

Lenore’s passions included her love of family and friends, playing the piano and violin, travelling and camping, and her love of God. She also took great pride in her chosen profession as a Lab Tech.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the Silver Kettle Village for their attentive and compassionate care during her illness, and for the kindness shown towards the family during her last days. A funeral service will be held at the Grand Forks Funeral Home on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Dauphin, Manitoba in early April.
