Leda Tschetter (nee Last) passed away suddenly on Jan 15, 2018 in Cranbrook B.C. Leda was born in Estevan, Saskatchewan on April 10, 1959.
Leda is survived by her children Chantelle, Cory and Nicole; grandchild Aria; parents George and Lydia Last; siblings Maurice (Cindy) and Wanda (Robin) McLane, and many nieces and nephews.
Leda spent her developing years in many places, but finished her schooling in Coquitlam BC. After high school, Leda landedin Saskatoon, where she married and began her family. However, within a few years the family moved to Ft. St. John, where Nicole was born.
Not long after a final move to Cranbrook, Leda began her valiant struggle with Multiple Sclerosis, rarely complaining as she became less able to care for first her family, and in later years, herself.
Thanks to the care of the staff at Joseph Creek Care Village, her later years were as comfortable as could be expected. Leda will be remembered for artistic works, her sunny disposition and her strong faith and belief in God, the Truth and the love of Jesus.
A memorial service will be held at McPherson’s on Jan. 19 at 2:00 p.m.
