July 30, 2020
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Karren Lynn Palmer Terry announces her passing on Thursday, July 30, 2020.
Karren passed away at home peacefully with her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Richard Terry of over 28 years and her children; Perry (Cathie), Jason, Jill (Rob) and Michael. Karren will also be fondly remembered by her grandson Brad, great grandson Elijah, sisters Margaret and Patricia and her many nieces and nephews.
Karren proudly served as a BC Corrections Officer for over 18 years. She treasured the many friendships she made and took great personal and professional interest in all her relationships.
Karren was an elegant, loving, caring and understanding person. Karren’s greatest happiness and pleasure was her family and friends selflessly providing unconditional love and support in all their interests and goals in life and never seeking recognition.
She had a wonderful sense of humor, always quick with a zinger cracking us up. She showed us the value of true love.
We would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff and the medical support staff of the Mission Memorial Hospital. We are grateful for all their work, help and support and all their efforts in taking care of Karren and guiding our family throughout this heart breaking experience.
Karren will always be loved, never forgotten and in our hearts forever.
A celebration of Karren’s life will be announced at a later date.Obituary-
