Judy Eleanor Myhill (nee: Dunlop)born in Nova Scotia in 1950 departed this life on Monday, July 11, 2011 to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the heavenly home He has prepared for her.
She lived in Nova Scotia and later moved to Toronto where she met her husband, John. They married and later moved to BC, eventually settling in Vernon where Judy worked as a special needs childcare teacher and also operated a guest house. She enjoyed camping, landscaping, walking, and especially walking in Kalamalka Provincial Park or by the ocean when visiting her mother-in-law in Victoria. Judy was a dedicated mother and wife.
Judy was a strong believer in Jesus Christ, her Savior, and had a profound and deep faith that encouraged others. She is with Him now, and for all eternity.
Judy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, John, and daughter, Ariella Rebecca; brothers, Graham (Liz) Dunlop and Jackie (Karen) Dunlop; sisters, Beth File and Joan Monaghan (Gord); extended family and friends.
The Funeral Service for Judy will be held on Friday, July 15th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Coldstream Cemetery. Following the graveside Committal, family and friends are invited to a reception in the tea room of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Judy may do so to the Vernon Women’s Transition Society, Box 625, Vernon, BC V1T 6M6 or to North Okanagan Hospice Society, 3506-27 Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 1S4.
