SALMON- Joy Alberta (nee Sharp)

Peacefully on Monday, December 5th, 2005 at VGH Banfield Pavilion, in her ninety-sixth year. Joy was born on Cotton Drive in Vancouver on January 27th. 1909. Formerly resided in Midway, and Woodfibre, B.C. She was predeceased by her husband Charlie, son Dick, sister Mae (Helphrey), and brother Roy (Sharp). Left with many fond memories are brother Glad, sons Roy and Cliff (Carol), grandchildren Amber-Lee Zielke (Jay), Oriana Tierney (John) and Chris; great grandchildren, Daniel, Jonathan, James, Cody, Dustin, Emma and Liam and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Joy’s life will take place at Banfield Lounge on December 17th at 11AM. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Banfield for their 26 years of Tender Loving Care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Banfield Pavilion Foundation VGH.
