Joshua Thomas HOGARTH

Joshua Thomas Hogarth

Oct 13, 1993 – August 21, 2012

On August 21 2012, Josh’s life was cruelly taken from him by an act of violence. He leaves behind to mourn, the person who loved him most in the whole world, his beloved and heartbroken mother, Debbie. Survived by his adored brothers Brandon, Ryan and Liam, his grandparents Valerie and Dan Larson, his Aunts -Victoria (Dean) – Nicola (Sig), Jenny (Nick), cousins Reyna, Kendra, Terra, Mya, Alexis, Robbie, Taylor, Max, Colby and Cora. Josh will also be mourned and terribly missed by Rachael, his one true love, and her parents, Colleen and Noel Smith, who”adopted” Josh during his mom’s absence. He loved you guys!

If a person’s worth is measured by the tears shed at their passing, then Joshua was truly rich. His many friends from Timberline and Campbell River, along with friends from VIU in Nanaimo, and Calgary were stunned to learn of his death, and have pledged to make each day count, do something worthwhile with their lives, and care for their environment, as Josh was attempting to do.

There was a private cremation in Calgary. There will be a Celebration of Life to celebrate what would have been Josh’s 19th birthday at Willow Point Hall, 2165 Island Hwy, Saturday, Oct 13th at 10 a.m. to noon. Please bring your photos and memories to share.
