Jock passed away March 21st, at Durand Manor, where he had lived for the past 4 ½ years. Born and raised in the Parson area, Jock spent his life in the sawmilling business, teaching many young men, including his sons, an appreciation for the forests and the value of hard work. An outgoing man, Jock loved to dance, to sing, to snowmachine and to visit with friends and family. He leaves behind his wife Kaye, his children Patrick, Jeanette (McCarron), Brett, Lindsey (Cox), Cindy and Liisa, and their families.
Jock’s family would like to thank all of those who attended his memorial service, for sharing their many memories of Jock. The amount of laughter and stories that were heard that day were a testament to the personality of the man.
