Janice Czeczei

The time has come for us to say goodbye to Janice Lee Czeczei. Born February 2nd 1944, gone to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, February 2nd 2017, Janice was met by her parents Leslie and Alice Adair, her younger sister Mary Pisko and her nephew Paul Closson.

Janice is survived by her children Mary Ann Davy (Stan) and Jerry Czeczei (Tracy), grand children (DAVY) Donnelle (Jake Portras), Michelle (Mark Nelson), Sara (Even Raasveld), Victoria (MacIntyre), Duckham and William, great grand children (DAVY) Ripley (Martin), Jace, Aiden, Landon (Nelson), Katia (MacIntyre) and Carter (Raasveld) – Grand children (CZECZEI) Brayden (Scott), Jessie (Lewis-Sibbelee) (Dean Samila) and Taylar, great grand children (CZECZEI) Jacob (Samila), her sister Florence Closson (Lloyd), brothers Harold Adair (Susan), Ezra Adair (Lynn) and Patrick Adair (Rhonda) and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts. You were all very important to Janice.

Janice was a survivor; she had beaten cancer 3 times – two of which should have taken her life. But she had a will to survive and to be with her children and grandchildren to go camping and fishing. Janice will also miss her friends at Pioneer Towers, especially Vicki, who helped her run the bingo. It was a break of her ankle in early November that laid her up for over 8 weeks, causing her body to create an infection that quickly spread to the vitality that kept her alive. Janice tried to fight off the infection, but finally could not fight any longer.

With her daughter by her side and her son trying to get some rest, Janice went peacefully into the light of God, carried by the Angels. This reminds us that there is no loneliness between our mortal body and the spirit, until it reaches the spirit world, where the righteous rejoice together.

“Forever in our hearts until we can rejoice as a family once more”.

A Celebration of Life will be held April 1, 2017 – 4:00 PM – Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – 2165 Parkcrest Avenue, Kamloops.
