Herbert Woodburn Williams, Nov. 6th, 1924 – Sept. 4, 2004, Abbotsford, BC
Survived by loving wife, Frances, sons Tony (Judy), Brett (Mary) and daughter Shelley (Pat), sister Frances Bayrack, six grandchildren, and one great grandson.
Herb served in WWII with Air Force Bomber command. He was also a previous owner/operator of Mission Taxi and AAA Charter Bus Service and a prominent member of Mission Block Brothers Realty firm. He was a member of Mission Rotary, previous president of Clearbrook Lions, and longtime Legion member, as well as an avid stamp collector.
A service of remembrance for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 14th, 2004, at Royal Canadian Legion, 32608 Fraser Crescent, Mission, B.C.
Donations in his memory would be gratefully accepted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. “He will be greatly missed”.
