The family moved to Willow Point when she was in her teens. She lived and worked in Victoria before she settled in Royston. “Honey” as the grandchildren called Heather, loved her family, gardening, photography, and traveling, just to name a few of her many interests, because most of all she loved life and lived it to the fullest. Heather, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great friend, will be sadly missed by all whose lives she touched. Special thanks to all those who were there for us, with comforting kind words, cards, flowers and baking. The overwhelming show of kindness, spoke for itself as to how much she was loved.

“If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane we’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.”

A Celebration of Heather’s life was held on Monday, December 24, at 1:00 pm at Piercy’s Funeral Home in Courtenay with Pastor Fox officiating.
