Georgina Hoath

March 23, 1925 – January 12, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt Georgina Philamina (Bohnen) Hoath at the age of 95.
Georgina was born in Watson, Saskatchewan on March 23, 1925 and moved to Vernon in the fall of 1933, where she has lived ever since.
She passed away peacefully with her family by her side in her home at Creekside Landing on January 12, 2021.
Georgina was predeceased by her loving husband Donald Hoath in 2002 and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Joe (Daniela) Hoath, and daughters Cynthia (Glen) Keller, Patricia (Rob) Biblow, and Elaine Hoath, her 10 grandchildren, and her 7 great-grandchildren, her brother Art (Paulette) Bohnen, sisters Lillian Rose and Terry (Gil) Goodman and many nieces and nephews who all had a very special place in her heart.
Georgina’s beautiful soul was loved and respected by all who knew her and we will all greatly miss her laughter, kindness and her wonderful ability to tell stories.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions and guidelines, a small private funeral mass was held at St. James Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 and interment followed in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Father Peter Nguyen officiating.
