SUPERNAK, Frank John

February 1 1961 – November 10, 2002.

It is with great sorrow that we mourn the sudden death of our father, son, brother, fiancé, uncle and friend. Frank passed away after a great heroic attempt to save his friend and boss Victor in a tragic accident at Silver Sage Winery in Oliver, B.C. where he worked. Pre-deceased by his father in August 2002, Jozef Supernak, his brother-in-law Terry Lee McBride and long time best friend Eric Erickson. Frank will be terribly missed by his wonderful mother Stella; his children Cory and Andrea whom he adored; his fiancé and soul mate Sandra who he loved dearly; brothers Art, Randy, Phil and sister Teresa McBride (Gary); nephew Darcy and niece Kristina; Maureen and many wonderful friends. Frank was born and raised in Nanaimo. Frank was an avid soccer player his entire life and played for Diplock Masonry as a youth. Frank had a love and talent for wine making and took great pride in this. Frank, you will always be remembered as a wonderful soul who touched many and would do anything for anyone no matter the cost. But this time was the ultimate. You are our hero and may God and Tat keep you safe and at peace. Please tell Tat we miss and love him. Till we meet again Frankie. We love you, we love you so very much forever Hero. A celebration of Frank’s life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 3:00 p.m. at Salvation Army Nanaimo Ministeries, 505 8th St., Nanaimo.
