Lundman, Ernestine Lavinia

Ernestine Lavinia Lundman, 71 years, of Spruce Grove, Alberta went home to Jesus on March 5, 2014 after a gracious and courageous struggle with cancer. She was born in Nova Scotia on July 12, 1942. Ernestine graduated from high school in Armstrong, B.C. and then went on to obtain her Registered Nursing Diploma from the Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, B.C. She graduated top of her class. She will be greatly missed by Irwin, her husband of 47 years. She was a wonderful mother to Gary (Gwendolyn) of Spruce Grove and Ian (Cristi) of Lantzville, B.C. She was the best grandmother to Kirsten, Erin, Katie, Olivia, Annika and Sofia. Her passing will leave a big hole in their hearts. She was a wonderful sister, friend and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service was held at Beach Corner Evangelical Free Church, Hubbles Lake, Alberta on Friday, March 14, 2014 with Pastor Bill Meier officiating. Ernestine’s wish was that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to ATEK, a Peruvian based (Kecewa) Organization ministering to orphans and training local pastors.
