DENNIS, Edward “Ted”
It is with sadness we announce the passing of our dear friend Ted.
Ted joined the British Army as a young man in england in 1947. He immigrated to Canada and in 1954 joined the RCAF, retiring in 1988 as a Warrant Officer. He also owned Dennis Engineering where he put to use his many talents working on challenging projects that brought him great personal satisfaction.
Ted was an active volunteer where ever he lived. He will be remembered within the Comox Valley for his efforts on behalf of such organizations as the Area B Resident’s Assoc., Friends of Lazo Forest, Comox Legion and his personal favourite the Air Force Museum.
Ted was predeceased by his sister Joan in Ontario and is survived by his sister Eileen in Alabama and brother Frank in England as well as nieces and nephews.
There is no service by request.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to Dr. Dawes and the nursing staff on the 2nd floor of St Joseph’s for the warm and compassionate care given to Ted. If desired, donations may be made in memory of Ted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
During the past few months, Ted wish that his special friend Jackie could be with him. He wish has now been granted. We’ll miss you Ted.
