It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we report the passing of Dennis. He died suddenly at home; family members were with him.
Dennis was the third son of the late John A. (Archie) and Ada M. (Tillie) Hazelton. He was the grandson of the late Lorne and Ruth Hazelton(Jaffray), and Gladstone and Anne Wood. He was predeceased by his sister, Lucille, brother, Reginald, brothers-in-law, Eric Machell and Ivan Walker, sisters-in-law, Doreen Hazelton, Rachel (Rae) Hazelton, and Marlene Hazelton.
He is survived by his sister, Lorna, brothers, Robert, William, Larry (Shirley), Ronald, Cyril, Raymond (Margaret) and John (Heather), numerours nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. His heritage was English (mother born in England) and Canadian (father born in Saskatchewan).
He loved family pets (especially cats), was an excellent artist, cartooning being his specialty (these artistic talents he kept quietly to himself), meeting and talking with people and bird watching, which he did on the banks of the Fraser River – his special love was the eagles.
Arrangements have been made for cremation, and burial will be at a later date in the Fort Langley Cemetery, with a private family service.Obituary-
