Corinna Ann Sandstrom of Abbotsford, B.C. passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Feb. 3, 2018 at the age of 49. Corinna, with reliance, strength and tremendous courage fought her battle against cancer.
Born in Mission, B.C. Corinna attended school both in Mission and Abbotsford. At 17 she started her working career with BC Telephone and worked with them for 16 years. She then started her new career with Hantke Redekop Warenstaff in Aldergrove for the past 14 years. Corinna truly had a passion for her work and loved her work family.
Corinna will be truly missed by her husband Robert Sandstrom, children; Nicole Percival (Jake) and Kyle Sandstrom, grandchildren; Alexis, Rorrick and Quintin. She is also survived by her mother Jeannine McDonald, her father Geert (Gerry) Haveman (Kathy), siblings; Richard McDonald (Joanne), Kim Fischer (Robert), Christopher Haveman (Marnie), Eve Simon (Frantz) and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Corinna’s life will be held on March 10, 2018 from 1 to 4 at the Rancho, 35110 Delaire Road, in Abbotsford.
Robert and his entire family wish to thank all those who cared for Corinna while in hospital especially the doctors and nursing staff in Palliative Care a sincere Thank You to All.
If friends and family so desire memorial tributes to the BC Cancer Society in Corinna’s name may be made.
