Clifford died peacefully with his wife Jean at his side. Clifford was a veteran of the Second World War. Before his retirement, Cliff managed the local Worker’s Compensation Board Offices after years in the Richmond Office. Clifford was a long-term member of the Vernon Golf and Country Club. Cliff also curled and belonged to the Gyro Club.
Clifford was predeceased by his 1st wife Nell (nee Ormiston). Their four children and families mourn his loss. Wayne (Jacqueline) and daughter Vanessa of Montreal, Linda (George) and son Dustin of Burnaby, Louise (John) of Vernon, Lori (Bob) and daughter Kimberly of Surrey.
Jean (previously Watson) his wife of 17 years, shares her grief with Clifford’s children and her own. Lionel (Myrna) and children Keith and Michelle, Wayne (Deb) and his sons Darwyn, Shayne, and Corey, Reg (Wanda) and their children Lynnsey and Quinton, Doug (Joan) and children Stephanie and Christopher, Colleen (Terry) and sons Michael and Daniel, Patricia (Bill) and daughter Whitney and Sue, all of the North Okanagan.
Clifford will be cremated, as per his wishes. On July 8th family and friends will gather to Celebrate Clifford’s Life.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of B.C. or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. & Yukon.
